SIYU CHEN

Siyu is a skilled technical artist specializing in shaders, 3D content creation, and tooling/scripting. She holds a degree from the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 2020. Since then, she has been an integral part of the Shader Graph team at Unity Technologies, where she applies her expertise in C#, HLSL, Python, and a range of digital content creation (DCC) tools such as Maya, Blender, and Substance Designer. Siyu’s contributions and proficiency in her field make her a valuable asset to her team and the broader community of technical artists and game developers. In addition to her role at Unity Technologies, Siyu has also interned at Hubs by Mozilla, a social VR platform, where she further fueled her passion for AR/VR technologies.
